Those who choose to spend their holiday in Casa Corto Maltese have the opportunity to learn how to make homemade pasta with Elisa, a Modican cook and Bucciadilimone blogger.
The cooking course focuses on traditional Sicilian pasta with two types of dough:
One to make cavatelli, busiate and maccarrunedda, and the other, with eggs, for ricotta and marjoram ravioli.
You will also learn how to make the "sugo finto” for the sauce and, finally, a dessert: the ricotta pudding or, for vegetarians, the biancomangiare with lemon scent.
It is necessary to book the course at least 48 hours in advance!
The course lasts about 3 hours excluding the time of the meal which will take place immediately after the course.
Elisa provides aprons and all the tools to work as well as handouts with recipes written in English or French.
The course can be held for a group of up to 6 people (it could also include guests of Casa Layla and Casa Kee).
The cost of the course is 75 euros for person + 25 euros on the total cost of the home service (alternatively, the course can be held directly at Elisa's home in Modica at no additional cost).
Elisa undertakes to leave the hob and worktop clean and tidy.
The cost does not include the cleaning of dishes.
